Possibly both closer to the evening because I’m leaving for AB on Thursday and I need to get my friend’s Chun Li costume all done (oops!) And she needs to try it on and i nee to make modifications to it. v.v uuugh. fun times. Also, I’m 99% Done with my Cheshire cosplay! I can throw a picture at you guys if you’re interested later? *winkwonk*

“A month ago, while you were gone,” Roy responded simply. Truthfully, he’d missed her more than he’d admit and started searching after the first week.
Jade spared him a glance out of the corner of her eye. She leaned back on her toes and lifted herself to stand. She dropped the dirty towel in the trash can and got a few more, dropping them on the floor between them. She knelt back down with a sigh.
“Where did you learn your detective skills, the Batman?” She snarked quietly, sopping up the remants of her mess.
“Cadmus programmed the information gathering skills into me. I just refined them over time,” Roy caught a glance at the red marks on her legs. “You’re burned,” He started walking to the bathroom to grab some ointment.
She made a face at him, but stayed silent as she finished cleaning. When she got up again, she quickly looked up at him. “I.. What?” Jade peered down at her legs, noticing the reddening on her shins. As Roy got up, she rolled her eyes, “It’s fine, it’s not that bad.” She tried not to wince. Great, now she noticed the pain.

“How about Stormageddon, dark master to all?”
She snorted, lowering her shoulder a bit so the kitten could crawl its way upwards. “I like that, but Lian can’t pronounce that yet.”
“We can call him Stormy, for short.”
“Stormy… I like it. It’s.. Cute.” She smiled, scratching the kitten under the chin. “Yeah. Just Stormy.”
“Can I still call him Stormageddon when he misbehaves? Just so he knows he’s in trouble?”
She thought for a moment, scratching the cat behind the ear. She offered a sideways glance at Roy, “Don’t call him, ‘Dark Lord of All’, as well though. He’ll think he did something good.”

It’s Every Girl for Herself: She was alone. A sharp ringing next to her face jolted her from sleep…
Roy knew Jade was back but she hadn’t shown up at their home, yet. He’d missed her for quite a while and decided it was time to go find her, first by checking her hideouts in town.
Roy picked open the lock to the apartment, entering slowly. He walked in on his wife cleaning up some kind of mess on the floor. Wordlessly, he walked over and knelt down to help her.
She barely took notice of the sounds of a lock pick digging into her door. She froze for a part of a second when she heard the door creak open and silently click shut. Her hands went about their business, scooping up the soggy tea leaves in a paper towel. Jade did not look up when came down to her level.
A strange silence fell between them, and Jade felt her shoulders scrunch up, shrinking herself in. “When did you find this place?” She mumbled after several minutes, using the same towel to sop up the tea water, now cooled on the ground.
She made sure to keep just a few places to herself from her family and the League. Though several of her places had already been discovered, this was the only remaining location in the area she refrained from telling Roy about.
